“Essential & Regular Vegetables” is major category with higher share withinvegetables. It covers both essential and sensitive vegetables like Tomato, Onion and Potato (TOP) and regular vegetables incl. beans, brinjal, bendi, cabbage, carrot, chilli, cucumber etc. about 28 crops.
“Major vegetables” is one of the priority category, which covers about 28 crops including ashguard, other guards, drumstick, coconut, lemon etc. These are on high demand by our clients such as HORECA, consuming households and bulk buyers.
“Other vegetables” listed under the category covers about 22 crops including garlic which is on regular demand. To highlight some of them are onion sambar, sweet pumkin and raw produces like papaya raw, jackfruits raw, banana stem etc. which are not on regular use.
“Leafy vegetables”, which are packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre, are one of the core part of our supplies. This category covers 21 crops including regular crops such as coriander, curry leafy, amaranthus, palak, methi etc. and special crops like celery, lettuce, leek etc.
“Exotic/ English Vegetables” included about 13 non regular crops and to name some of them are mushroom, baby & sweet corn, asparagus, broccoli, colour capsicum, English cucumber etc. These are familiar only with star-hotels, elite restaurants & affluent Indian families.
“Major, seasonal & other fruits” category cover about 29 crops. To highlight some of them are apple, banana, mosambi, melons, orange, papaya, pomegranate, pineapple and also seasonal fruits such as mango and grapes. Tender coconut is also part of this category.
“Exotic & imported fruits” being covered are imported apples, passion fruit, plum, strawberry, fig, kiwi fruit etc. The main client base for these crops are elite restaurants and start hotels. Most of them are imported and the supply and price are linked with international markets.
“Grains, pulses & millets” category included over 34 crops besides the variants such as branded and unbranded produce. Key crops included are rice, dals of selected crops, flour of selected crops, millets, which is known as super food, is one the fast moving produce with a list of over 8 crops.
“Spices, plantations & nuts” is fast moving category with us with a coverage of over 20 crops. To name some of them are a) spices such as pepper, jeera, turmeric, ginger, chilli and sambar powder etc., b) plantations like coffee and tea powder and c) nuts such as cashew, raisin, fig, almond, pista etc.
“Oil, oil seeds & niche produce” category covers both a) oil and oil seeds such as sunflower, ground nut, coconut, mustard, soya, rice bran and VCO and b) niche produce such as Jaggery variants, honey, stevia etc. Farmer brand for the selected niche produce is also part of the same.
